My boy and I have just started fishing mostly lakes, streams, and rivers. I bought the basic Shakespeare bass/trout kit that is sold as one for each of us. Now that I see that we both really enjoy it I want to upgrade to a better set up, I’m leaning towards ugly sticks but can’t decided between bait casters or spinning reels? Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated! Many thanks
