So I’ve recently got back into fishing, I don’t have a lot of time, or a vehicle to get to nice lakes or streams surrounding my area so I’ve started fishing the stocked trout ponds in my area, haven’t caught anything but have seen many fish, and have had a few good bites, I’ve been using a size one spinner, (all colours) as I have multiple, 10 pound braid and just decided to get a nice rod and reel yesterday as it’s becoming a core hobby, my question here is, are trout magnets worth it, and do you need a bobber for them? I have some slips that I haven’t used, but they don’t seem ideal as the deepest part of some of these ponds are only about 2-3 feet. With the spinners I can just cast and reel, can I do the same with a trout magnet? Thanks in advance!
