I’m curious on how I can tell the difference beyond if the fins are beat up or clean. For reference this is in a small stream in the finger lakes region and the stream has no report of stocking that I can find. I mainly catch big ole chubs out of the stream but I’ve seen many 16s and one remarkably large male (well over 20) for a stream that’s mainly 4 feet wide
