For the last few years I’ve been on the quest to find the most sensitive and refined setup for trout fishing in rivers/ streams/ creeks.
So far after trying a plethora of readily accessible rods and reels and line, I currently use a Dobyns trout and panfish rod with a shimano ultegra spoiled with 6lb j braid grande 8x
Will I notice a significant difference when switching from a Dobyns Trout and Panfish rod with a Shimano Ultegra reel and 6 lb Daiwa J-Braid Grand 8X to a Shimano Soare XR rod with a Shimano Vanquish reel and Varivas Infinity .3, given that both rods have solid tips?
