Hello – I'm not a fly rod fisher – yet. I'd like to test out some streams this fall in Eastern PA, and I have St. Croix Panfish light and ultra-light rods. Does anyone know of the main difference between the Panfish rod and the Trout Series rod from St. Croix, other than most of the Trout Series rods are 2-piece rods, which could be easier to transport if I have to hike a bit to an access point. Thanks!
