First off, I know nothing about trout fishing. I got into bass fishing in the spring/summer and want to start trout fishing as fall is coming soon. Please leave any suggestions on beginner gear and tackle, recommendations on whether a fly fishing rod set up or spinning rod set up is better and just any tips you’ve learned over the years. There’s 2 small rivers each within 20 minutes of my house that I plan on fishing at. Thank you!
