Fished a stock fishery today with a friend & could see fish surfacing and also dropped a lure right in front of a trout i could see with a silver wobbler, it looked at it for a second and then just turned away.
We used powerbait, mouse tails, spinners, spoons, wobblers, crankbaits and even flies on a bubble float with only one hit in 4 hours and it came off instantly.
It was around 23c with clear skies and east winds. I’ll also add that we then went and tried three other spots for brown trout and perch that are usually good, we could see the fish but nothing would bite. Was it all just down to the weather?
