What pound test braid would you use for trout fishing in the June lake loop?
I’m looking to get as set as I can for a trip next April I believe (when ever the trout season starts) and I was looking at the phenix iron feather braid that comes in 3# or 5#. I know it will depend on my rod and reel set up. I have an Okuma Celilo with a Shimano Sahara 1000 and I think I have like 8# braid. I’m looking to get a second rod for trout which will be another ultralight rod with a reel like the Vanford 1000.
