Looking for some advice. I want a good all around rod and reel setup. I plan on mainly catching trout at the reservoir or lake where they stock them but I want a setup in the case there are other fish out there. I've been eyeing the Pflueger President 25. I've heard they run small (more like a 1000) Would that be a good reel for what I need? Also, if someone could give me a recommendation on a good budget friendly rod to match it up with (with the action, power, and length). I've heard the Fenwick Eagle is a good one to match. Does anyone have experience with this? Bonus points if it matches the pflueger too! Someone recommended me get a medium or medium light 7'. Wanted to see if this is a good idea.
