I've read a bunch of posts and opinions and I'm not sure what to get for my 2 ultra light set ups for trout fishing in the Eastern Sierras. I'm leaning towards just doing Trout SOS in 4lb with no leader for simplicity. Is that a good idea? The fireline braid to either yo zuri or Trout SOS sounds like a good set up too, but for affordability and simplicity, is there any reason not to go with just Trout SOS in 4lb? The water in the lakes I fish is generally crystal clear and I'm usually throwing panther martins, occasional jigs, and Carolina rigs with powerbait.
