New Trout fisherman looking for help with setup

Hello, I live in a place where the closest trout stream is an hour and a half away, so I have never been trout fishing before. I go bass fishing a lot, but I see trout fishing online and would love to get into it so I can take a day trip and catch and cook some rainbow trout. I have done research about where I should go in my state and all the regulations, and I'm just about ready to go, the only problem is I have absolutely nothing to trout fish with. I've tried looking up what kind of setup I need but there are so many options, and I want to get the cheapest thing possible since I will not be going every day because of how far it is. I need buy everything from scratch, so if anyone can lay out EVERYTHING I need that would be great. What I'm thinking I need to get right now is some kind of ultralight spinning rod/reel combo and some line and some lures, but I am so new to trout fishing I don't know what any of those would be. What strength and type of line should I get? Do I need a leader? What kind of rod/reel? What kind of lures or hooks do I need? Flies, fake bugs? I'm literally so clueless as to what I should go buy so that I can go take a trip to catch rainbow trout, but I would only be getting the bare minimum. Less than $200-$300 total would be ideal for an entire setup since I need only the cheapest products. If anyone has any recommendations for starting from scratch that would be great. Thank you!
