I’m looking a getting a sun dolphin American 12 Jon boat for room for me and the wife but have the accessibility of a canoe. I live 15 mins from the river and my backyard is greets ferry lake so I could use it for yoyos and such also. I am trying to figure out if a trolling motor would be enough propulsion to travel up river with maybe 2 locks generating or what size small outboard I would have to have.
