Hi everyone! Im wondering are fake nighcrawlers a good bait for rainbow trout , because a friend of mine has fished for them with natural ones and he caught his pb with a nightcrawler , the reason im asking this is because in the area I want to fish trout in , its forbiden to use natural baits like worms, larva, etc… Mostly lure and fly fishermen fish there and I dont have a ultra light setup or a fly rod , I would fish them with a bottom rig with a quiver tip rod.
