With temperatures cooling down here in western NC and trout season around the corner, I’m looking for some rod and reel recommendations for the new season. Last year, I had great success using an Okuma Celilo rod paired with a President reel, but now I’m looking for a slight upgrade. I’ve been eyeing the TFO Trout and Panfish II rod, but I’m still undecided on a reel and am open to other rod suggestions too.
My budget is around $200 for the combo. Any recommendations or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, tight lines!
