Just got into trout fishing this year. Found some spots to catch a ton of trout, but haven’t been able to hook into anything big. Was wondering if anyone else from southern Ontario have had experience catching bigger trout. I mostly catch them around 8-12in.
Wondering what you guys typically look for in the water, how large of a river/stream, types of lures, waters conditions etc. I mostly just get them in tiny rivers and creeks, and am not sure if they can grow much larger in these kind of conditions.
Any advice is appreciated!
